I am married to my best friend, Stan. The Lord blessed us with a delightful son, Andrew. I enjoy cooking, sewing, reading and traveling. Most of all I cherish the time alone with my family after a busy work day.
My secret sister surprised me with a candle with a wooden wick. The crackling sound is soothing and reminds me of a fireplace. Andrew has always been intrigued with candles. He was having fun checking this one out on Sunday at noon.
I have been looking for a table and chair set to replace the hand me downs that we have been using since we got married ten years ago. Saturday I was driving home and spotted this set for sale in someones yard. They did not want much for it, so I grabbed it up. It fits my taste perfectly. Notice the two captain chairs in the background and the formica top. The Lord is good!
Tonight I attended a Passover Seder put on by the Salem Wesleyan Academy. Andrew and his classmates took a part in it. We were all seated at tables and went through the passover rituals. It was very meaningful. Thank you so much, Mr. Dan Forrider, and all the teachers who took a part in making this a meaningful time.
